Duct Tape Wars
June 10th @ 1:00PM: Teens are invited to come to the library for a day filled with duct tape. There will be games, competitions, and snacks! Sign up today! Ages 13 – 18.

Daddy & Me Movie Afternoon
June 16th @ 2:00PM: Come to the library for a fun afternoon with dad! Watch a movie, eat some popcorn, and enjoy some daddy/child quality time before Father’s Day. All ages welcome.

Historical Building Tour (Adults only)
June 17th @ 12:00PM: Brush up on your local history! Join the library for a special historical building tour as we explore the Sandwich History Museum and Opera House. Local historian, Joan Hardekopf will give a tour through the historical museum and Christine Roe, Director will give a tour through the opera house. Tour will begin at 12pm at the Historical Museum located at 315 E. Railroad St. directly followed by a tour through the Opera House located at 140 E. Railroad St. Interested parties should meet in front of the Historical Museum at 11:45pm. Register today!

Mini Makers
June 19th @ 3:00PM: Come to the library and get creative! Use a variety of different materials to make different contraptions and crafts. Ages 7 and up.

Watercolor Painting Class (Adults only)
June 20th @ 6:00PM: Join professional artist David Zoberis as he teaches you how to paint your very own watercolor masterpiece! No artistic skill level is required to participate as it is dedicated to beginners. This program is available to adults only and all materials will be provided for you when you arrive. Registration is required as the class only has fifteen openings, so be sure to register early to secure your place! Ages 18+. Call the library at 815-786-8308 to register!

Superfight Tournament
June 22nd @ 6:00PM: Superfight is a card game where players create an unconventional fighter and argue who would win in a fight. Come to the library and put your fighters to the test while enjoying some free pizza! Ages 13 – 18.

Pint-Sized Prom
June 29th @ 6:00PM: Let’s dress up and dance! Put on your best outfit or costume and come to the library for a night filled with music, dancing, crafts, and fun! Sign up today! Ages 3 and up.

Hogwarts House Party
July 8th @ 10:00AM: It’s time for our annual Hogwarts House Party! Tweens and teens are invited to come to the library for a full day of Harry Potter fun! Make your own wand, find out your house, ,enjoy snacks from the snack trolley, and so much more! Ages 12 – 18.

Kids Painting Class
July 10th @ 5:00PM: Michelle from The Petite Palette is coming to the library to teach children how to paint a lovely picture! Spots are limited, so sign up today! Ages 7 and up.

Tech Wreck
July 13th @ 6:00PM: Tearing apart technology is always fun, but what about making something out of the pieces? Come to the library to destroy some old tech and then make your own creation! Ages 13 – 18.

Library Mini Golf
July 17th @ 4:00PM: For one day, the library will turn into a mini golf course! Come and play with the family. No registration required. All ages welcome.

Planning And Planting A Vegetable Garden (Adults only)
July 18th @ 7:00PM: Learn how to plant your own vegetable garden with master gardener Steve Wolf. All ages welcome.

Dye Hard: Tie Dye Party
July 22nd @ 1:00PM: Enjoy some fun in the sun with splashes of color. Come create your very own tie-dye shirt. All you need to do is bring your own white shirt and the library will provide the rest! Sign up today! All ages welcome.

Supply Swap (Adults only)
July 25th @ 7:00PM: Come to the library for a supply swap where you can trade craft supplies with peers. All ages welcome.
